Simulation Lab

  •  Contributed as a CAE Engineering Intern to the development of thermal management systems for Lithium Nickel Cobalt Manganese Oxide (NCM 622) batteries.

  •  Conducted 60 test cycles using CFD in Ansys for each nanofluid (Au, Ag, Alâ‚‚O₃, Cu), varying battery temperature input, inlet nanofluid temperature, and velocity.

  • Analysed data in Excel to determine that the Au+water nanofluid outperforms water by 27% in cooling and heating efficiency.

  • Identified optimal nanofluids for specific battery temperature ranges, enhancing overall thermal management performance.

  • Developed cutting-edge 3D printing technology utilizing hybridized Stereolithography (SLA) to achieve a precision scale of 3
